Co-Parenting during and after divorce can be challenging at times due to lack of communication or parenting plan issues. These situations are difficult, and you want to be able to handle them in the best possible way in order to provide your children the support and structure they deserve. This class will explore reasons you may be struggling and offer strategies that can be helpful in co-parenting when nothing you are doing seems to be working.
Rebuilding your life after divorce can be challenging and exhausting. This class will help you navigate this process so you not only survive, but thrive after your divorce. This course will help you remember who you were before and design a new life that will become not only satisfying, but a life you truly look forward to waking up to each day.
Divorce is not only stressful emotionally, but physically as well. When one is living through stress for extended periods of time, it becomes imperative that we take care of ourselves even though it is very hard to do. During this class we will explore ways our emotional and physical well-being are connected, as well as ways we can care for ourselves during times of stress. Many things we will discuss do not require a lot of time or money, and are very doable with practice and intention.
This is a safe place where you can share your experiences with one another. Whether you are contemplating divorce, actively involved in court proceedings, or actively rebuilding your life after divorce, you are welcome. You will be able to connect with others who understand what you are going through and receive support and encouragement. Group meets in-person for 8 weeks.
As a class participant you will learn to recognize triggers and underlying reasons for your anger. This course will provide you with coping skills and tools you can use to change the way you respond to those triggers, and help you find healthy ways to channel your anger. We will be using a workbook during our meetings, and it will be a safe place to share and learn from others' experiences. Completing this class can help you feel better, increase your self-esteem, and improve the quality of your relationships both now and in the future. Teaching this class is a passion of mine and I will make it as interesting as possible. Participants will receive a certificate of participation upon completion of this course. This six-hour course will meet for two hours on three consecutive Saturdays. Private sessions available to accommodate clients' schedules.
Stress has a huge impact on our quality of life as well as our health. Many of us are busy with work schedules and family obligations and are feeling the pressure. This class will give you an understanding of where your stress comes from, how it affects you both mentally and physically, and specific things you can do on a daily basis to reduce stress and feel better. You will also learn ways to be healthier and more productive. We will look at the many facets of your life to see what is in balance and what needs more attention. You will learn practical steps you can take that are easily woven throughout your day and lead to sustainable change.
